My parents bought a shack in 1981 and worked hard to serve great bbq. They would spend over 2 decades serving the community of Spring, Texas.
Dad tending a fire in an old barrel pit. As he would put it, "BBQ is the toil of labor, but a labor of love just the same!
Early 80's patron coming in for some BBQ. My mother always said, "It's not fast food but fast good food!"
Wayne & Charlotte Read, wonderful parents to 4 children. Honest and hard working, they enjoyed people and the community they served.
Tiny shack to full blown restaurant!
My parents grew into this building, built on the same site as their previous shack!
Some of the best memories of my life, working beside Mom and Dad!
